Fallen Into Midnight Trap.

Meeting someone whom I lie the most to.

Have you ever been stuck in the middle of the night and you couldn’t sleep? To be precise, at 02.30 am.

Tho you’ve tried to watch your watch list that you never care; you’ve tried to read all the books you bought but only stuck on your bookshelves; you’ve tried to light your cigar, and you try to consume pills that you are not supposed to. But you still failed to fall asleep.

Stuck at the moment where you only hear the sound of the rain, staring at the cloudy night sky without any stars.

Covered under the warm blanket with a dim night lamp. But you can’t sleep.

You’ve got your hot chocolate milk; you’ve tried to shower with a hot bath, but still, don’t even feel sleepy.

You’ve got everything to have a deep sleep, but you are not there when you close your eyes. Your mind is out here thinking about all the possibilities that could or are not even close will happen.

Your body is resisting rest; your eyes are resisting to close, cause deep down, you know why: your heart is fighting to stop thinking about all the insecurities; you are afraid of what you might face the next morning.

While in the end, you have to realize from this famous saying:

No amount of guilt can change your past, and no amount of anxiety can guarantee your future.

Sincerely,
Random thoughts, 02.30 am in the morning.
